Marina Stollberger has been strengthening our team as an IT Project Manager for the last few months. Marina brings a lot of banking experience to her new role. She has a strong background, clear vision and track record of successful projects. She brings additional fresh momentum to UNiQUARE.
Marina finds the perfect balance to her work outdoors. She may be the first one on the ski slope early in the morning or relaxing by the water, simply enjoying the moment.

1. Your last position before UNiQUARE ?
I was as a project and process manager in the Digital Banking Solutions division of an Austrian bank. I managed onboarding projects for digital lending platforms, integration of new partners and supervised the integration into banking processes. I was also responsible for the further development of digital solutions. I aimed to ensure that it was not just a good concept but it really worked.
2. Describe yourself in 3 words…
Communicative, open to new ideas, organized.
3. First thing I do at the office…
Perhaps, this is where it should say: get coffee and structure the day.
In reality, I come in, greet my colleagues, set up my desk, put away my things (including a prepared meal), get a glass of water, and start the day at my laptop.
4. How do you spend your free time? (hobbies, sport, balance to work)
CrossFit, skiing, and concerts give me the energy. Also, a lot of time with family and friends. Good conversation, good food, and places that move me. All of this is an essential part of my life.
5. What must always be in your wardrobe?
I love fashion and quality items with style. I don’t restrict myself to any specific signature pieces. I mix and match according to the occasion to create a look that fits together.
6. What is your favorite place?
First thing in the morning on the mountain, when everything is quiet and I am the first one skiing down the freshly prepared slope. Or by the water: I would just sit, look out, and enjoy the moment.
7. Without which technical device couldn’t you live?
My iPhone. It keeps me organized and in touch. It brings together many aspects of my life.
8. What career advice would you give to young people?
If you seek an opportunity you will find it.
9. Do you have a life motto?
I have no specific expression. It is important to be conscious, make the right decisions, and be ‘in the moment’.
10. What long-term wish have you fulfilled?
I have no big dreams. I build the life I want step-by-step.
11. Your childhood hero/heroine…
MacGyver: always calm, even in the most absurd situations, creative, and always having a solution.
12.What excites me…
Music, sport and time with family and friends. Good conversation, good food, and places that move me. A good mix of being quiet and very lively.
13. What is at the top of your private to-do list?
I have no classic bucket list. I like to keep my goals structured but I deliberately leave space for what feels right in the moment.
14. Morning lark or early bird?
Early bird but I need my first cup of coffee to be ready to go.
