Welcome, dear Lisa. We are delighted to have you in the team.
Lisa Gritsch has been supporting us for a few months now. She works as a UI/UX designer with an excellent sense of design and usability. Lisa is an energetic sportswoman. Her most recent job was at a creative agency, where she implemented and supported many projects.
Lisa loves swimming, working out in the gym, and being in the mountains. It can be splitboard, crampons, or bike—the main thing is plenty of fresh air and a great view. This energetic power-lady finds her inner peace through yoga.
Let’s talk about… Lisa Gritsch #teamuniquare
1. Your last position before UNiQUARE ?
I worked at a creative agency, where I implemented and supported many projects.
2. Describe yourself in 3 words…
Structured, energetic, well-balanced.
3. First thing I do at the office…
Open my laptop, go through the to-do list and prioritize; first enjoy a coffee.
4. How do you spend your free time? (hobbies, sport, balance to work)
It is a colorful mix during the week: yoga (for inner peace); swimming (for endurance); Krav Maga (in case someone steals my last protein bar); and weight training (to make sure I can get it back). At weekends, I spend a lot of time on the mountains—with splitboard, crampons, or bike.
5. What must always be in your wardrobe?
At least one chic outfit. Unfortunately, hardshell trousers do not qualify as evening wear.
6. What is your favorite place?
It changes all the time but Hochstuhl is a hot tip. Fresh air, a wonderful view, and free legs exercise.
7. Without which technical device couldn’t you live?
Avalanche transceiver, digital maps and GPS. I don’t want to be a long-term missing person. And, of course, skins for my skis, otherwise I’d be down faster than planned.
8. What career advice would you give to young people?
Find something you enjoy, get really good at it, and enjoy work that doesn’t feel like work.
9. Do you have a life motto?
Regarding sport, aims and work: „The fears we don’t face become our limits.“ Meanwhile, I also remember “Tutto Passa”, You should enjoy the beautiful moments before you have to descend to the valley again.
10. What long-term wish have you fulfilled?
Hard to say… I have some goals that require preparation and/or resources. (I don’t have any wishes. Wishes are for Santa.) However, I’ve managed to be independent and self-sufficient.
11. Your childhood hero/heroine…
My big brother – he showed me how to do pranks and he made sure that grandad always blamed me rather than him.
12.What excites me…
Untouched powder-snow slopes and Japanese food.
13. What is at the top of your private to-do list?
Buy a new mobile phone before my current one retires and I lose contact with the rest of the world.
14. Morning lark or early bird?
Unwilling early riser. My friends definitely want to be the first on the mountain and I can’t let them go alone.
