UNiQUARE was founded in 1988 by branch insiders seeking to replace the inflexible technology of mainframe computer systems by proprietary terminal systems with a process oriented, user-friendly client/server solution that included a graphic user interface.

UNiQUARE’s advanced frontend systems rapidly set new benchmarks in the counter and teller banking areas of renowned financial institutions thus achieving wide-spread international recognition.
